Team Member Profile: Let us introduce you to Emily, our Chief of Events. If you need an Event Manager in Surrey, for corporate or family events, then this lady is your gal!
About me!
With over 10 years of experience in Events, organising memorable occasions is a passion of mine. I fell in love with the industry whilst volunteering at local events, going on to study Event Management at the University of Chichester and now managing community fundraisers.
In my spare time, I can be found at home in Caterham with my husband. I’m usually glued to Pinterest looking at interior design ideas, as after a year of research and plenty of squares of paint on the walls we are finally getting around to decorating our house! I’m also partial to a cheeky rose with friends; and love a good cup of tea and spending time with my family.
First Class Support
I’m fully trained in all aspects of Event Management from event design and planning, PR and marketing to hospitality and project management having graduated with a First-Class Honours degree.
When the Olympics came to London in 2012, I was one of the Games Makers at the Riverbank Arena. This gave me a great insight into the world of global events! I was honoured to be part of one of the biggest sporting events in the world. Since London 2012, my career in logistics and production has allowed me to continue using my planning and organisational skills, delivering to audiences across the UK and negotiating with suppliers to meet a deadline and budget.
Currently, I’m Chair of St Mildred’s Social Committee, managing and organising fundraising and social events for the local community from magic shows to BBQs, barn dances to Christmas markets – and now I’m ready to organise your event!
So You Need an Event Manager?
So what can an Event Manager do? We can save you time, we can make sure you stick to your budget and most of all, we can ensure you and your guests enjoy your event! I love seeing ideas come to life, watching all the carefully planned details come together. I understand the importance of taking even the tiniest of details into consideration, from choosing colour schemes to how the napkins are to be folded.
After finding out what you’d like your event to look like, I will explore every idea you have and use my own creativity to add those little touches to your event, making it stand out from the rest. Let me take the stress out of the planning process to create your perfect and memorable event! So if you think you need some expert support at your next event;
- Let’s have a chat on the phone or over email to talk about your bespoke needs
- I’ll go away and unleash my creativity and provide you with some options and ideas that suit your brief
- I will create schedules, keeping your event on track and ensuring everything is ready on time
- During the event, I will be on hand to make sure everything is going as planned
In a nutshell, relax and leave all the logistics to me, so you can focus on the fun parts and enjoy the event! Our services are flexible, meaning we can be as involved as much or as little as you want us to be.
Joining The Assistant Quarters Team
I’m delighted to join the team at The Assistant Quarters and will always work by my personal mantra; that it’s the small things that create that lasting impression!
